The Port Lavaca Chamber of Commerce is excited to have Calhoun County families participate in creating a Lemonade Stand. This is a great way to create a lasting memory with your children and earn some extra Summer spending money.
Families that choose to participate in this event can create their own Lemonade stand in front of their residence. Parents can help their child create Lemonade that is safe and tasty for public to consume. Parents can also assist their child in counting money that they receive with each lemonade purchase. This is a fantastic way to teach financial literacy and keep your kiddos brain active during the Summer months. Your children can have some extra spending money to put toward some summer fun.
Community representatives will be traveling around town participating in the Lemonade Day event and seeing all the neat stands you create!
We will post more details closer to the date. If you choose to participate we would like some information so we can let the community know which neighborhoods are participating. We will not disclose specific addresses to respect your privacy.
This event is meant to be fun and a great way for parents and children to work together!
